Hopping with the Llamas

Welcome to the Llama Blog Hop!  I hope you are enjoying all of the creations of my fellow Llamas!  Aren’t they fantastic?  If you have been following the hop, click the next Llama link at the bottom of the page and if you just got here, no worries!  You can follow the loop around or start at the beginning by clicking on the Llama Hop home page link.

Now, onto my projects!

Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and our family rotates holidays, so my mom always hosts Thanksgiving, with everyone bringing their specialties.  Mine is green bean casserole…just sayin’.

I thought this would make a nice hostess gift for my mom!  And it’s got glitter.

I used Spice Cake DSP and some coasters I got at the dollar store.  For the wine charms I used some wine charms I also got at the dollar store and just removed the charms that came with them.  Some punches and scraps of paper and voila--wine charms!

Next is a Christmas card I CASE’d and used as one of the projects for a workshop I did last week.  I love the blank area between the two embossed areas! And it’s got glitter.

This card uses Garden Green CS, Whisper White CS, Real Red CS, Frostwood Lodge DSP, Snow Burst Embossing Folder, Red Glimmer Paper, Real Red ink, Stocking Builder Punch, Many Merry Messages stamp set, Linen Thread, Mini Jingle Bells, Real Red Grosgrain ribbon.

And my last project is a Valentine’s treat holder.  I used our thin cello bags and picked out all red M&M’s from my bag of fall colored M&M’s.  The tag is so sparkly in real life.  I just love that Gold Smooch Spritz.  And I wanted pink velvet ribbon, so I just used my marker and made it pink!  And, guess what?  It’s got glitter!

I used Pink Pirouette Textured CS, Red Glimmer Paper, Just Add Cake DSP, Full Heart Punch, 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Very Vanilla Velvet Stitched Ribbon, Pink Pirouette Marker, Gold Glow Smooch Spritz, 1x8" Cellophane Bag

Thanks for stopping by.  Now onto the next blog by the very talented Stephanie O!

Last Nights Card Class

Awesome class last night ladies, as always!  Here's what me made, sorry you missed it if you weren't here!

Ok, so once I figure out my photo editing software, maybe I will get my pictures oriented the right way, with the watermark on it, lol.  This card has an Old Olive base, also uses Rich Razzleberry, Marina Mist and Whisper White cardstock.  The ink used is Rich Razzleberry, Marina Mist, and Old Olive.  I used the Circle Circus, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Four Frames stamp sets.  All supplies used are from Stampin' Up!  I CASEd this card from a card I saw on a display board at the Stampin' Up! Hartford Regional Seminar.

This card is a quick and simple thank you card I CASEd from a Convention swap from Cindy Senese-Sherilla.  I used Concord Crush and Whisper White cardstock and Concord Crush ink.  The stamp sets I used are Elements of Style (Love It!!!!) and the Because I Care Hostess Level One stamp.

Are you coming to my next class on April 29th from 6:30-9:00 pm?  Want to win a prize?  Here's how:
1. Make a card using all those Stampin' Up! supplies you have, doesn't have to be current, just mostly SU.
And the card must use anything from either of the two cards above...layout, color, stamps...anything!!
2. Bring your card to my next class and I will pick a winner!

I had a blast last weekend at the SU! Regional in Hartford with my friends Karen, Gwen and Tina.  I know my sideline Gwen has a group shot of us at her blog Create With Gwen.  Check it out, she creates awesome stuff!

Hope you are having a great weekend!  I am still waiting for warmer weather!
